Don't own one yet
Just been looking online at breakdown cover and seems most don't want to know given our motorhome was registered in 2006. The AA seemed ok at £170 for two weeks until I spotted maximum width of 2.3m, ours is just over this. RAC seemed rather expensive at £200 but at least had a more generous width of around 2.5m. Any advice please?

Having tugged for over 30y and now have a Motorhome we use red pennant not the cheapest but have used them for assistance several times found them excellent, we did once use RAC and it was a nightmare as they say you pays your money and you get what you pay for, it’s not until you need their assistance that you realise how good or bad they are🤔😂

We are with Britannia which we took out through LV with our insurance. We have a 2004 7m Burstner A class and had no questions over age or width. We broke down earlier this year in Spain and Britannia were brilliant.

Always use Red Pennant, as well as breakdown cover it also gives you medical cover, I had to use them in Spain and they were excellent
