Essex Summer Meet Waldegraves final post

Hello Everyone

Here is some information for those of you coming to the Essex summer meet this week on Mersea Island near Colchester.

Your hosts are on pitch 297 unless Waldegraves has changed the pitch number. So look out for the FUN FLAG

Things have not gone as smoothly as last time and it appears theres been some sort of cockup and we are not all together. There are some "non funsters" in between our allocated pitches so make the most of it a get out there recruiting.


Dont forget to check the high tide times for crossing the causeway.

A "Meet the funsters" event will be held where you can indulge in a PIMMS with soft drinks for the kids and water for any dogs- details to be finalised. As this is a very informal meet there is nothing planned, its down to everyone to choose what they do and when they do it.

The weekend featured entertainment in the clubhouse is

Fri 20th Steve Pacey - A highly versatile entertainer to bring you an evening of enjoyment​

Sat 21st Saturday Night Fever - The title says it all, a tribute show with all the songs you know & love!

Car Boot Sale will be on Sunday 22nd Weather Permitting

Please can you give some idea of arrival time and your pitch number so that you get a warm FUN welcome on arrival.

The current long range weather forecast is highs of 22 degrees with showers on some days.
