I use a squirt of this when I remember, Try to do it 4 or 5 times a year.

I had mine fitted by SAP but lubricating every two weeks…..really !!

Ooop’s had them on my old van for nearly 4 years and never even looked at them!! Press button they went down press button they went up

I wipe ours down with a micro fibre cloth every time I use them and spray silicone lubricant. Wouldn't be without them

They spend most of their lives immersed in hydraulic oil. It’s only when extended that the rams are exposed to the environment. If they are extended for weeks/months on end then they might benefit from a quick spray.

Remember, unlike the vast majority of rams on machinery such as JCBs, they operate in a fairly benign atmosphere (protected underneath the vehicle).

You should really clean the exposed rams before you drop the moho if you've grease or sprayed them. The lubricant protection collects grit which can cause wear on the piston scraper and seal.
If used regularly then no need to lubricate but if left extended for more than a few weeks then they need to be greased or sprayed to protect the rod.

Had self levelling on our last two motorhomes (total of 6 years). I spray the rams twice in winter only, and we live on the beach. Never had a ram issue yet.
