Hi Everyone.
Do I need an emissions sticker for Vienna if I’m under 3.5 tonne please? I’m in a Peugeot Boxer Bailey. I’ve got a vignette but a bit confused as my V5 box J is blank. Has anyone been lately and can put my mind at rest? Thanks in advance.

As far as I'm aware the emissions stickers only apply to vehicles classed N1, N2 and N3. As you have nothing in box J, then I would think that as you are not a commercial vehicle then you should be ok. I'd try to find out the class though. The vignette is a different item for using motorways and toll roads. I was a bit concerned in early October when we strayed into the Innsbruck low emissions zone but as we are M1 all is well!

Hi Soycd.
Thank you for your reply and from what I have read in a panic I agree with you. I’m going to run the risk and fingers crossed as I’m actually here now. 😬

This is how I see it, but for the sake of a few euros get a vignette in case you get “diverted” onto a motorway or expressway (there’s more of them round the Vienna area)👍 enjoy Vienna, go and have a cake in cafe central👍👍

This might help for the toll routes. It shows the toll roads but is a not in a lot of detail. I think the green bits are stretches that were tool but now they are not. Basically Vienna (Wien) is a can of worms!

Hi Westy.
Thank you for your message and I’ve already bought a Vignette as I was coming over from Croatia/Slovenia. I will certainly try a piece of cake as who can possibly resist. 😋
