I registered for e-TOLL in Poland a few weeks ago in advance of our planned trip.
All seemed OK but today I received an email saying that the verification of my vehicle was unsuccessful due to wrong emissions or lack of documents.
As a result the vehicle is classed in the highest weight group and lowest emissions class.
It’s a 2018 Hymer Exsis 2.3 litre. I know I’m Euro 6 if I go on UK clean air zones.
My V5 doesn’t show any emmmisions information.
Has anyone found a way round this.
Looks like I will have to go non toll across Poland if I want to visit Aushwitz.
Furthermore I can see problems in other east European countries if they want emissions proof.
Can’t see me getting it sorted as ferry is Saturday.
Thanks
Graham

Your C of C is the document they need to show your euro 6 class. That is where it has been on my 2 Ducato vans so far, never on the V5

As said your C of C will prove it.

In Austria when applying for a Go box if you don't produce the original of your C of C you get charged maximum rate

Wish I had a C of C in my paperwork.
Not something that occurred to me at the time of purchasing my van thirdhand. ☹️
Update:-
After going through all the folders etc that came with my van I have found the C of C.
Problem sorted🤗🤗

You are lucky because ours was built (2003)before C of Cs were issued.

I got a letter from FIAT UK by email to confirm my emissions class because it wasn't on my log book. I think it cost £25 for this. Hobby wanted 100 euros for the c of c.

Yes but I bought my van secondhand with no C of C. I didn't even know about it when I bought it.

Good luck avoiding toll

The Fiat one is irrelevant you need the emissions after the conversion so it has to come from Hobby.
Are manufacturers not obliged to supply a C of C with the completed vehicle?
Yes, you can't register a vehicle without a C of C.

Sorry Lenny but that's not true. I have used the letter from FIAT for my Austrian go box registration. Also it's the engine type. I.e euro 5b etc that's important rather than the exact emmissions level and this is the same before and after conversion. When registering for road toll you need the engine euro type which is what the FIAT letter provided.

What you mean is you got away with it, what I said is correct the Fiat figures are meaningless after a conversion has been done as the emissions will be different.

No I didn't get away with it. It was an accepted form of proof and had to be approved before I got the tag. Its still a euro 5b engine before and after the conversion. You're right the emissions may change but the engine is certified Euro 5b

What I'm trying to say is that the Fiat C of C is not valid for your vehicle if it has been converted.
