Not Long Enough...!!
Well what a day, the bring and buy went well a lot of tat changed hands for little money. Even Chris let me buy something...a invertor for a £1, bargain of the weekend if it works.
Saturday night American buffet was amazing, enough food to feed two rallies and a wonderfull choice.

The entertainment was out of this world, A Amazing Extravaganza of lost talent was seen tonight.

Edwardo who came from the distant country of Stockport. He sang songs from the crooners and a few from George Formby..(not the grill Rick Link Removed) but the man himself strumming his ukalayli, as he lent on a lampost watching the young ladies go by..Link Removed

Then the King himself entered to the fanfare of angels hearts breaking..What can we say about this but, not what we were expecting after the build up..
Absulutely amazing, A night we will remember for a long time. Even had a firework display in the near distance as Elvis left the building...Link Removed

Rest in peace you were one amazing entertainer in your time. The King

Thanks to Paul and Nikky and all your helpers from us for this wonderful meet at Wrenbury.

A great weekend despite the bit of weather we had ( a lot less than the forecasters said we were in for). The Bridgnorth Ukulele band and associated funsters ( to be known as The Rex Factor for the one night only) were brilliant and entertained us for nearly three hours without a break. Thanks to Paul and Nikki for setting it up and everyone who helped over the weekend. Best wishes to Paul and Nikki for their 20th wedding anniversary.

For anybody on Facebook hopefully here is a link to a three minute ish video of The Rex Factor performing:

Love the Rex Factor vid; are they available for weddings, divorces and/or barmitzvahs?

Who's their booking agent - Ms Pitstop? - or is it all done via the SVR Station Booking Office?

Nice one nikki and paul

Well done guys it all went well despite the weather, the field was in good nick and no need for a tractor. Elvis and George Formby were brilliant despite never having played on the same bill before!! What can you say haven't had such a good laff in years - sad I know!! Thanks to all the organisers and helpers but particularly them Haganaps for building up such a great annual event and throwing a great birthday bash.

Congrats, Dave & Lucille

Heehee..we'll play anywhere/anytime we're all in the same field

Unfortunately two live in Cardiff and two live in Hartlepool so it's not going to happen very often, methinks...and, of course, Rex lives wherever his wheels stop turning

Can I just add that Rex is in fact playing a cajon between his legs, and not what many people think he's doing :Blush:

We had a fab time at what was our first Fun rally. However I still can't bear to pick up my guitar as my fingers are still sore from the 3 hours on Sat and another 3 hours on Sun. That Barry is a real slave driver.
Thanks to everybody who made us feel so welcome and Haganap for making it possible.

pah, lightwieghts, we played 2 x 4hr sets at the royal wedding last year. Slave driver perhaps but didnt we all do brilliantly
