Hi

I have an EBL 269 and have recently bought a KS Energy Lithium battery and a Victron IP65 10 amp charger. It will be very rare for me to want to charge from EHU but..... it will happen!

Hopefully an easy question - Block 9 (2 pin) is for an auxiliary charging unit. Can I simply remove the internal charger fuse (to disable it) and then wire the +ve/-ve from my 10 amp IP65 charger to the +ve/-ve on block 3.

Thanks!

Si

My version of the EBL269 manual has the connector labels wrong (all labelled Block 7) so I will skip the block numbers. Yes, removing the 'Internes Lademodul' fuse will disable the output of the internal charger. The 2-way connector is OK for wiring in the new charger - its amp output of 10A is OK for the terminals, which have a mex value of about 15A I think. You will have to insert a fuse in the slot labelled 'Zusatz Ladegerat' (= auxiliary charger) to enable the connection from the connector to the leisure battery, you could use the one from the Internes Lademodul slot if you want. Test the polarity of the 2-pin connector with a meter just to make sure.

The connectors are MNL type, available from automotive electrics suppliers like 12Volt planet, or Ebay of course.

Excellent thanks autorouter 👌

I have plenty of MNL connectors having replaced a few pins.
