Hi,
I'm trying to fit a new pioneer head unit to a 2014 Auto trail Savannah, without much sucess. I got the impression, from the supplier, that it would be quite straight forward. Alas, not quite so.
I have now itentified the feed from the reverse lights that should turn the camera on and connected it but still no reverse camera.
I think what I'm lacking is a feed to the drop down screen. Where does the screen get it's power from?
Two problems that can be seen are:
1) There is no power to the drop down screen.
2) The screen to the Pioneer still doesn't respond to the reverse signal.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Joe...whats the unit you have that you are fitting?

I had a pioneer fitted recently into a 2012 auto trail...the reverse camera on ours plays through the head, the flip down tv is only connected to the tv for sound, it has no video connection.
Secondly on ours if I remember correctly you will need to go into the radio settings and make sure the reverse camera polarity is turned on (positive).
