Just preparing the MH to go away at the weekend and plugged in the EHU last night. I have been in and out the MH this evening several times and what sounds like...the main charging unit fan seems to be running, then it speeds up and is then quiet. This is happening frequently tonight. Is this normal as I am not using anything apart from the fridge? Thanks

Fan usually only kicks in when the charger is chewing its nuts off and gets too warm.....were your leisure battery/ies flat ?

The current hot weather wont be helping either......warm air trying to cool the charger.

Batteries..2 parallel were 11.98. Only thing that was running was the control panel showing water low.

Batteries were well discharged then....the charger will have been working overtime so no wonder the fan was running.

Im sure theres nothing wrong and once the batteries are charged it wont happen again....

Thanks John !

Batteries below 12v are more than 50% discharged so could be damaged if they were in this state for a long time. As Pappajohn says the fan will run even with reasonably charged batteries in warm weather.
