Electric Wing Mirrors for Ducato

Does anyone know if there is an after market kit to convert Ducato wing mirrors to enable electric fold in?

I have not heard of one but if there was, I would expect it to be very expensive? (That's a big mirror and mine already, manually, fold in.)

Do you remember when you had to put your arm out in all weathers just to adjust the mirrors and wind down the window to do so.
or, even having to get out the car when they were actually on the wings!:giggler:
Come to think of it it was the passenger that got out 'cause you had to give instructions as how to move it!(y)

I recently replaced the temp sensor in my wing mirror. It involved removing the control module in the arm rest.

I have the electric mirrors which was obviously connected! There was also the pre wired connection for the electric folding mechanism which I don't have.

If you pop your module out of the arm rest and see if you have the spare connector you should be able to purchase the electric folding module and also the electric folding mirrors too as they will need the extra motors. I don't recall seeing an option in the body computer to activate this either.

Coastal Motorhomes have them! You won't get much change from £200!

I think you will find that is just so you can adjust the mirror head, not fold it into the body. 🤔

There is definitely an option for the whole mirror to fold in!

So, it would cost me £300 X 2 to save me opening the windows and pulling my mirrors in and then someone could come along and nick them? Hmmmm! 🤔
I don't think so. 😄 AND only short arm type.

Don't forget the £200ish for the module! Medium and long arm may be available and more expensive, I just clicked on the first power folding!
