Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has used a service on the Algarve, Portugal concerning failed electrics? Fridge is out of action and leisure battery not charging. We’ve checked all the possible fuses.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

There is Camperserve Lda in Loule - we have been there many years ago, but I don't think it was for electrical issues.

Jock. :)

As above, Camperserve are just off the N125 near Loule. There’s also a camping shop with a mechanic called Teknocamper at the campsite in Armacao de Pera.

Or, whist not campervan specific, there is an English mobile mechanic who has helped folk out in the past, also based in Armacao, and I’ve used him myself,

Colin Penny on +351 968594847,

I know he has attended the aire at Silves before and sorted out problems with another funsters van on my reccomendation 😉

Another vote from me for Camperserve, very helpful English owner, but you must book, cannot just rock up. He sorted our sun awning in the spring, at a fraction of the UK price. We phoned first, he confirmed he could do what we wanted to do and arranged a time to call in. Very easy. https://www.camperserv.com/en/services/

Another recommendation for Camperserv. Tommy is ex-Navy, knows his stuff and very helpful. Always call first though as he gets very busy.

Tommy at Campersrve has sorted out a fridge problem for my mate in the past, found him very good

Camperserve Tommy sorted our boiler out very quickly but you need to call to book he is very knowledgeable and gets on with the job😊

Another vote for Tommy @ Camperserv. If you email a rough outline of the problem, one of the team will get back to you with an appointment but, be prepared to wait …. they are always very busy. As others have said, don’t just rock up on spec.
