The seller states it's on a Ford chassis, whereas I'm sure it's on a Peugeot, seems pricey for the year, but it's a dealer price & the M.O.T. expired over a year ago according to the advert.

Great info
Thank you

I wonder if like motorcycles there are better times of the year to buy/sell. For instance October or November for buying used and March and April for selling.

Anyway good luck in your search, we visited Highworth a few times, based on location and they were helpful as we found Marquis at Poole and Webbs at Warminster. The least helpful were probably Southdowns at Portsmouth and they were too busy but had a great selection.

Morning Scout

Mrs H (on the left) is still sat on her clutch of eggs, which is great.

I'm off to work this morning, then speaking to my insurance company this afternoon to see if I can pause my van insurance until the new one arrives.

Catch you later matey

Well it's obviously a Peugeot in the photo, the mot could be a misprint for 2018, yeah overpriced as well

I happened to look at an elddis up on a ramp last week. I was so surprised that at the rear end I could see the exposed plywood, I could actually see the edge of a piece of 3/4 ply and it was starting to delaminate where the water was getting into it. And this was on a 12 plate.

I believe the new ones are still made of wood, the 'Solid' labels means they re glueing it not screwing it together. There used to be some videos of the construction methods and they were pretty poor.

Morning Dave, my mate is selling a CI 644 carioca (look it up) 2005 with 28k miles ...V tidy van inside but skirt's are flaking ...says he is going to paint...will take £16250 for it ....no doubt that will drop to £16,000;). Went through MOT yesterday no advisor s...v cheap van

I've just looked at a few of the Highbridge listings.
Several have expired MOTs, it's not a misprint, the vans have simply been in stock for a long time.
We visit them quite often, some vehicles have been on the forecourt for several years
I have no idea about the van in question, we don't have an interest in British vans, so wouldn't ever have looked at it...
Generally speaking, I find their used stock a bit hit and miss.
Some are first class, some have no place on a respectable dealers forecourt...

Thanks for all the replys, friend is just starting looking and yes thought it was overpriced myself. Checked mot on gov site and it is mot'd bit of slack advertising getting mot and make wrong
