Elddis shower hot water

On my Elddis 105 majestic 2018 after having the water heater on max mains setting all night I only get just over 5 litres of hot water from the shower head which is barely enough for one shower even using the 'naval' system of wetting/soaping/ rinsing and we certainly cannot have two showers. As an experiment I measured the hot water in the sink using a 1 litre jug. Is that right or is there a problem? Not so good if a couple cannot have even a very short shower.
Secondly there is a switch selection on my 12V control panel NOT shown in my handbook illustration called 'Tank heater'. When switched on I am not aware if it has any function so can anyone tell me about that?

Our eldiss 175 has around 10 litres. Best to check your handbook.
The "tank heater" is a heater in your water and waste tanks to prevent them freezing up Best used when on hook up as it can be a power drain on your leisure battery.

use gas and you'll find the water hotter and it will go further when mixing it with cold

It has 10 litre of hot water, you use 5 then it replaces with 5 of cold so it needs time to reheat.
