Elddis Encore Majestic 285 Kitchen Basin

Looking for a bit of advice.

I have an Majestic version of the 285 that is little over a week old.

I took it away for a weekend to realise and iron out any faults. The biggest issue with the van was the waste run off in the kitchen basin. From half full it takes about a minute to empty the sink.
I took it back this morning to Marquis Surrey. They told me that due to the pipework routing this delay in emptying the sink is normal.

Does anyone have any experience of this.

Due to other issues with the van Marquis Surrey is not a company I would rush back to.

Same on our old 155 and similar on the Bailey we have now

We did find if we set the mh slightly nose down it drained quicker.

It’s normal for Motorhome/caravans to do this.
