The Elddis 125 should have a BCA PDU (power distribution unit) the same as the one in the picture and the AC EHU battery charger is in a slide up unit in the back of the PDU as arrowed. Is there a problem with the charger?

We have the same BCA PDU in our Elddis 175 and when I changed over to lithium I fitted a Victron IP22 mains charger which fits into the same space as the original charger occupied in the BCA PDU unit.

ok found the charger, had to remove the passenger side bed and all the steel work, then remove the top of the cupboard to gain access to the consumer unit, remove 2 retaining screws to remove the retaining plate and this just slid up and out, slid out the charger to identify it 20amp 13.8 charger
A BIG THANK YOU 👍👍👍👍👍 to Paul and Yvette that one picture was so much help

to be honset we dont use ehu that often, my solar panel kept my battery topped up and i am about to fit a 20amp dc/dc charger as well to charge the lithium battery while travelling, will the original charger damage the new lithium battery when charging it? cheers chris

The PS276 mains charger fitted in the BCA PSU's is by no means a decent charger and I was not prepared to chance my lithium battery by using the PS276 charger on my lithium.
Although I build my own lithium batteries from scratch saving me a small fortune, I still opted the fit a mains charger with a lithium charging profile for that odd occasion that we may need it.
We are very rarely on EHU, and we use our MH all year round and it's likely that you will be struggling after 3 to 4 days off-grid with no sun and the battery loading in the colder weather.
Jacksons are selling the 20a version of the Victron IP22 for a tad over £127 to give you a piece of mind for that time that you may well need hookup.
Although I could charge our lithium if off-grid and parked up for a while via our 60a B2B by running the engine, that is not ideal.

Its back up to 145 bucks pity.. i wonder if you will do me a favour and take a look at this replacement charger, i am thinking of buying this lithium profile version it is a straight replacement as its not so easy to get at the charger, just like to hear a 2nd opinion thx chris

When I swapped to the Victron IP22, I did not bother with connecting it back into the BCA PDU circuitry, I just cabled the 12v output straight to my shunt as the PS276 charged is not required for the PDU to operate as correctly.
Is fitting a free-standing lithium mains charger and cabling to the location of your leisure battery or if you have one, your shunt viable in your case?

little room!!... our motorhome is one of the smallest, so taking any cupboard space is not what i want to do, this is why i was looking at a direct replacement plug and play, but people say the victrom 20amp can be put into the same area connecting with the original wiring, but i could make it free standing but rather notonly as a last resort
