Was going to go around the elephant park until I looked at the price €30 each adult.
So decided to go for a meal instead.
Any recommendations as there are 3 eating places in th village .

I’ll bump this up as we were there beginning of last week, probably too late now anyway and you have made your decision!
We always “eat in” so cannot help you on the restaurants.

When we stayed there in September, we had lunch at the nearest one to the aire, the one with the ground level outdoor terrace overlooking the way into the park. Three course lunch for about 12 euros with wine. Basic good food, enormous portions, and friendly service. Magic.

Yes, the one with the elephants outside. First floor has a picture window with lovely views over the elephant enclosure.
And the food is good too. Gets very, very busy on a Sunday afternoon so book if you intend going then.

We went around the park when we last in Cabarceno. I think it was around 50e for us two, but what a park!
We drove through, stopping frequently to see the different animals in their magnificent enclosures, free to roam, and far better than any 'zoo'.
We had a fabulous day in there, well, just over 6 hours, and still didn't see everything. A wonderful animal park, and a credit to them!
Worth every penny! far more enjoyable than we imagined! Go see, but allow the whole day.

None of them ever been open when we have been there, looks a good menu.(y)

We walked through the park and saw the elephants etc though obviously we couldn't use the cable cars! It was about an hour before it closed and nobody seemed to mind, the Spanish were doing the same. We were there end of September and it was quiet so the menu at the restaurant we chose was limited..

Edit: we walked OUTSIDE of the park :groan:
