Does anybody have any experience of Edecoa inverters, in particular the one below.
Seems well spec's for the price and comes with a remote display with on/off.

Ask yourself why a good branded one is around 4 x the price?
Ask yourself is it safe to have 166A running through a cheapo inverter?
The reason I've asked is I think I had previously read positive things about this brand on here from a regular poster but can't find it now.
What would you consider a good branded 2000 watt inverter ?

Very happy with my Renogy inverter and they do get good reviews…

My present inverter which I've had for a year is a Sunshine Solar model.
No problems with it.
I'm looking at fitting a bigger inverter as I now have lithium and am thinking of running things that have a bigger drain than my present inverter will supply.

We have a Novopal pure sine inverter fitted, which has worked fine over the past 18 months.

And another for Renogy...mid price good quality.Have had .Had an edecoa some time ago,One of the better cheaper inverters, probably be fine for short time loads and lower power, suspect if you run at max for longer time may be a different matter...probably better buy a "size bigger" than you need .

I bought a ‘budget’ brand 1500W pure sine wave inverter - after lots of deliberation - for about £160 and it’s been fine for our use case.

That said, for not a lot more money I would 100% now go for one of the Renogy inverters if I was buying today - aside from lots of good feedback I would imagine much better support from them as an established brand, perhaps not to the level of the most established companies (Victron etc) but seems a good balance of quality, support and price.

I would not buy any Renogy products after my experience of their after sales.

I think you are all paying far too much for inverters.
I've had one just like this for the past 12 years . I did change the cooling fans last year as the were getting noisy (£5)
Although the biggest load I put on it probably only 500w it has worked faultlessly

Fair enough - to be fair I’m only going on what I’ve heard from others - the only products of theirs I have so far are two solar panels, thankfully I’ve not needed any support. Sorry to hear you’ve had a bad experience though - and noted, thanks.

Of course, should my ‘Carrybatt’ inverter from Amazon have issues, I’m not sure I’d get any support from the seller/manufacturer either.

I’m afraid the brand you’re asking about isn’t one I came across when looking into these.

I have the 3kw one I bought 8 years ago for the last van which unfortunately died, the van that is, before I had a chance to fit it & was proposing to use it in this van but haven't the need. It looks nice in its box.

I fitted a 1500W pure sine one in 2017 and it has performed faultlessly. I've even checked the output on an oscilloscope and it is indeed pure sine wave.

If you pay a lot more Victron have some excellent models but my experience of these budget models has been positive.

There's a link to it in my signature to how I fitted it in my PVC. It wasn't a trivial installation.

I have had the Edecoa 1500/3000 watt pure sine wave one for 2 year. It works well for lower loads but I have found an issue with it beeping when I have used higher powered items i.e. 1000 watt kettle.

I need to check but it may be my wiring isn't man enough, but generally it seems to do the job.

The cables that came with my Inverter were nowhere near adequate. I beefed them up with cables from sunshine solar.
