Have decide to purchase Eco-Worthy 100Ah Lithium battery. Whether you look at Ebay or Amazon, they seem to have three prices. The most expensive option has Bluetooth, fair enough but, they have two seemingly same 100Ah batteries but always with a price difference of about £35. Why? Can anyone shed some light on this, please?

Not 100% sure but sometimes it is the quality of the cells that they are made up with.
I think there are grade A and grade B cells.

Cant give a reason BUT.
Ecoworthy do multiple listings, especially on ebay,,
I posted 2 weeks ago when there was a 20% off and they were £143..
Today on ebay you can find same battery direct from Ecoworth at £159 or even higher prices..
I get emails regular off Ecoworthy with so called "offers" but they are usually dearer than their own listings on ebay..

Personally I would search for best price and ensure its direct from Ecoworth. If your not in a great rush hold until ebay do another discount offer.. I had 2 x 170w ecoworthy solar panels on a deal for £112. Very pleased with them.

Update.. just looked on ebay and another offer code making them £153..

So that people who don't do a protracted search of all their prices is likely to pay the higher price maybe?

The reason they are cheaper is that they are non Bluetooth. Ecoworthy have just brought out the same battery but with blue tooth such that you can read the soc etc on a phone app. They are just trying to get rid of the older stock. It's not due to grade b cells etc.

They have always done it. The only thing I have ever bought direct from ecoworthy that was cheaper than online /amazon was there bifacial solar panels. Even though they are selling them to you themselves ebay, amazon ,anywhere is always cheaper than there own site. Even after you take off the 'discounts` you have had

yes daily here.todays is the battery I purchased last month with a "38% discount" that is still dearer than what I paid last month & before I add the 50€shipping cost

No they have always sold both types in the smaller 100 & 200 Ah sizes but the 280Ah was only in unheated & non blutooth which they now sell a version that has both at 539€ here. Even when it is doscounted it is still the same price.

Another excellent company that do similar is Ecoflow. There speciality is "refurbished /reconditioned units ! at 'lower' prices. It is just sales gimmicks & lies as they have never sold the amount s of units for it to be possible to have reconned that many units.

I haven't seen any shipping charges? I bought 2 x100ah lithium from ecoworthy last year whilst in Spain. Delivered from Germany to Spain free. Within 4 days.

I’m considering buying 2 of the 280ah batteries, with Bluetooth and 200ah BMS, no heating but low temperature cut off. At £450 they seem to offer good value over the Fogstar and Renology, I’d be using a shut, so Bluetooth not important.
I’d be interested to hear of anyones experience of Ecoworthy.

generally the products got decent comments, but I seen a lot saying after sales and service was poor as it isnt a UK company base.
but then agan trustpilot gives 4.1 so cant be all bad , maybe they have got better

They just seem to continually alter their pricing on the various platforms - Amazon, eBay, and their own website. The product doesn't vary from one platform to another. A non-Bluetooth battery from Amazon will be the same as a non-Blutooth battery from eBay, even if the price appears different.

To complicate matters, they run a lot of deals / voucher offers - so that ultimately everyone should be paying a similar price no matter where they purchase from, unless they have their head in the sand or are click-happy having done no research.

To further complicate matters, Ecoworthy also sell identical batteries under the DC-House brand. These too are available on all selling platforms at seemingly different prices until discounts / vouchers have been applied, when they all pretty much even out.

Full disclosure - I purchased a 100aH DC-House non-Bluetooth in November for £160 from Amazon after discount. All documentation that came with the battery references Ecoworthy. Working absolutely fine. 👍

I’m thinking along the same lines, I started a thread that could make this idea even cheaper…🤔
