I realise this is a really big favour, and not many people would be prepared to go to such trouble. However, here goes....... I am trying to repair my Sargent EC325 power control unit, and I have discovered a burnt out resistor on the 12v converter pcb (photos attached). I am trying to determine the value of this resistor. Because it has burned out, there is no visible colour code.
The resistor is R196.
Does anyone know where to obtain the circuit diagrams for the EC325?
Or are there any photos out there?
Or is there someone who has the same power control system, and is prepared to take the cover off and find the colour code for me.
Obviously any advice will be greatly appreciated.
We are scheduled to leave home for Spain on 19th January.

I can’t see any attached photos.

If the resistor burnt out, my question would be why did it burn out?
I am having difficulty attaching my photos for some reason.
In answer to your question; I have already replaced some defective capacitor, where there was a fault on the charging circuit. That fault caused over heating, so the cooling fan has been doing overtime. The resistor is on the pcb which runs the fan.

Have you contacted Apuljack. They may give you that resister value or advice, (possibly if offered a small fee.)

That's my plan for tomorrow. I may have to bite the bullet and ask them for a replacement.
