2001 Pilote G270 A Class on a 2.8Hdi Peugeot Boxer.
Need to replace the cam belt, also the radiator has a small leak so decided to both at the same time. Looking around I could see the front fibreglass area is in sections. A day's work and managed to remove the central strip carrying the logo, the lower skirt and the heavier section carrying the headlights. It soon became clear that many of the fasteners were heavily corroded meaning carefully use of a small battery powered angle grinder. Finally removed the top cross beam holding the radiator that is an original Boxer part apparently cut down by Pilote. I will replace fasteners with stainless on reassembly, perhaps going up a diameter.
So yes, who said no access on A Class vans?

I’ve just replaced the radiator on my 2001 Hymer and got that out without removing the cross beam.
Mind you I had to do it 3 times due to leaking new! Radiators 😡

Yes I agree, normally remove the bottom cross beam and get it out that way. Part of the reason I took all the front off was to replace all those corroded fasteners so I knew it would be possible to do it away from home if needed. I will also give the area a good clean so I can sort an oil leak and attack some light rust.
