Hi guys, we have a set of milenco ramps with four wheel “wells” the top ones are about 150mm high, but they are very difficult to drive on to, my tyres spin and have gradually started to melt the peaks off each well. What I really want is a smooth ramp, or ones without ”wells”, steps will be ok, I want them to bring the bottom of the tyre to around 150-180mm height off the ground. What recommends do you have?

Thanks in advance!

Russ

The easiest and cheapest way would be the same as I did in NZ.

A couple of short pieces of scaffold board or similar along with some bits of timber to go at 90 degrees to the ramps.

You could even paint the top of the boards with anti slip paint 👍

Our 16in tyres didn't fit into the wells on the quattros so I sawed the peaks off 🙂 can't comment on your wheels spinning, never had that problem!

That's a good idea. Kinda doing that by melting them with my tyres!! what did you use? a handsaw?

Yes,if you look at the edge and rest the saw across there is an obvious place to do it 👍

I have a couple of packs of these, with the top plates and wheel stops. I've not seen anyone else with them, but they work well for me. Probably better for 120mm rather than 180mm though.
