Still getting thoroughly confused regarding bike racks that will allow the rear doors of a Renault Master to open fully.
We want to future proof - so needs to be e-bike compatible. E- bikes seem to be c25kg (so 50kg total).
Van Swing arms seem to say 60kg but you need to factor a bike rack at c20kg (Thule XT2) which only leaves 40kg for the bikes.
Atera Strada DL3 seems to say 45kg (which is cutting things fine) and roofbox.co.uk recommends only one e-bike and to use the Atera Genio Pro for more e-bikes (2 at 30kg) but this version doesn’t slide back before tilting.
A couple of questions:
Does anyone use Van Swing with 2 e-bikes and are there weight issues?
Same question about the Strada DL3?
Anyone in the South West (Somerset) with a DL3 (or Genio Pro) that would be happy for me to test on our Renault - I think my towbar arrangement may be different to other posts I’ve seen!
Thanks
Patrick
