Duro air assist suspension

Ok I thought I would give this a go despite the fact it’s taken all day to remove the bump stop ( with a hammer and chisel ) and loosen the u bolts
I have the old u bolt plate off and despite the pictogram instructions I can’t decide whether to bin the old plate (rusty bit) and just install the new bit (silver bit) or try and fit them both, they don’t look like they fit together!!!??????
Has anyone done this already?
