Duplicate Dart Charge

Just had a second email to say I’ve been charged again for a DART charge on Sunday. The details of the crossing on each charge are identical which at least suggests it’s a mistake rather than fraud.

I’ve raised a complaint as although it’s only £2.50 this shouldn’t happen.

Good luck they are a nightmare to deal with . They overcharged me , refunded the wrong amount (too much) then sent me a penalty charge notice for underpayment … you seriously couldn’t make it up
It took about a month to sort it

Oh my goodness.
Still do t know how they can charge me twice for crossings with the same vehicle at the exact same
time and date.
The charges came through by email on 2 consecutive dates though.

Update - they have replied, apologised for ‘technical issue’ and escalated for ‘appropriate action’. Refund will follow.

Not a bad response. I know it’s only £2.50 but if everyone was charged double they’d be making millions.

I thought they were ok to deal with rescinded my fine for late payment both ways just charged the crossing fee.
