Dundee, Eh?

Any of you nice folks out there recommend a off grid pitch/site in or around Dundee.

I'd like to go up there this w/e with van and family but it would seem that both the nice proper sites are all booked up.

The owner, Bill, is a good guy (just don't say I recommended!).
It's 10 mins walk from Carnoustie station so you could get the train into Dundee. There's a bus-stop outside of the gate but not sure where the buses go to.
10 minutes walk to a glorious sandy beach but watch the tide times.

Have you tried the ones at Monifieth, just the other side of Dundee, There are two there, near to the Tesco Supermarket, can't remember the names.
Pubs nearby, Bus almost at the gate and prize Black Pudding in the Butchers.
