Ducato Auto 2022 Hill Descent Control

I have the 2022 Ducato Auto motorhome with Hill Descent Control. According to the manual this system can be engaged at speeds below 25 kmh but a dealer video I’ve seen talks about below 50 mph (which admittedly seems quite high) as being the limit. Can anyone confirm which speed is correct? Also there is no mention anywhere of whether this system can be engaged in any drive mode ie auto or sequential. So again, could anyone confirm if it’s available in either or only one of those modes?

Hi. I can confirm I have activated mine in auto mode at the lower speed only. It wouldn’t activate at all at higher speeds, in fact I’ve had to generally stop the van and then activate it and set off again. I’ve done this always in auto mode. It’s very rare I’ve used it though.

Concur, used mine extensively, its really good, but only engages at fairly low speed, certainly lots less that 50mph - and tbh its for declines which are quite sharp, so would unlikely be approaching at anywhere near 50 mph.
