I am off to France at the weekend for a very quick visit and as a result I will be driving through the night on the first day. I have a pair of eurolites, however, the packaging is long gone, I was just wondering if anyone knows the correct positioning of the eurolite, it is usually 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock or 7 o'clock, however, I dont know which one for the newer Fiat. I have looked at headlamp protectors, however, no time to purchase and fit, I have looked at not fitting anything as the French don't normally bother when they come over here, once again dismissed option and I have looked at not driving through the night, once again not possible on this particular trip. Fall back position is to buy from AA at eurotunnel complete with packaging and instructions. Hoping someone else has needed to fit them recently?

On my 2019 Ducato Maxi it said just to fit the circle (not the side area) so that it is level with the bottom of the low beam bulb (with low beam on, while looking at the headlight), at a 6 o'clock position. Perhaps best to look on Eurolites website, they may have instructions you can download?

So the top of the circle is level with where the bottom of the bulb is. Think checking the website for your model is best though.

Slight Offset at the bottom about 5pm from memory. After a couple of times I just went with it. Was never flashed. Went over the other side one (7pm) time just for a double check and to see the difference. Difference was I could hardly see the road lol.

Thanks for getting back, I may well be looking in the wrong place, however, can’t find details for individual models on the web. On my previous Ducati it was at the 12oclock position and 7 o’clock on the one before that so 6 o’clock may well be it for this one

No you can’t see much that’s for sure, on or off

For info, I just googled Eurolites vehicle list and it came up with a few pdfs. Perhaps you can have a look for one of those to make sure?

I have driven Europe in car and van for thousands of miles for years, at the moment I’m in Lisbon and regularly drive at night and have never been flashed and on the many occasions that I’ve been stopped at checkpoints the police have never said anything about stickers and that would be headlights deflectors, crit-air, uk or such….

But I do have a funster sticker… it’s my get out of jail card….🙂😎

Not worried about the police or legality, and like yourself have regularly done all nighters over the last 40 plus years, just that I have always used either masking or deflectors. Newish van and just looking to see if anyone knew there exact location.

Are they LED headlights, if so you cannot fit defectors As far as I know.

There should be an adjustment for LH dip and RH dipped beam from the dash or infotainment system, certainly have that on my car.

That would be a nice luxury, think they fitted candles to mine
