Drop vent in garage install

Drop vents are usually only required under gas appliances or joints.

Why do you feel that you need one ?

I was wondering about the same thing the other day to try and get rid of the condensation that was on the doors , heat vent turned off but still got condensation on the metal trim surround ,so in your opinion would a drop vent work .
