Hi
Our telly is mounted so high up on the overhead boxes that I get a stiff neck watching it.
Has anyone got an idea how to make it drop down through the bottom of the cabinet and go back up securely when not in use? I need some sort of slides but haven't seen any available.
TIA
Martyn

Have you looked at the swivel arm mounts? A four arm one might give you what you're looking for albeit not fitted in the standard manner?

You can buy TV rise and fall slides that are electric, I assume 12v, mainly for use in the home but I don't see why they shouldn't work in a motorhome if they are 12v ...

But I made one out of a pair of drawer runners.

You could use a monitor arm so that you could pull the TV out then lower it and tilt it. A bit like an anglepoise lamp.
I have one but I don't use the vertical movement really. Absorbs bumps while travelling really well. The TV has been in our autotrail for five years and 2 years in the van before that.
This is the one I bought, you might need to mount it upside down though...

Sorry this is a German link, you will need to see if it is available on the UK site, but this concept might be suitable and free up the space above too....

Thanks but we don't have space for a fold-down arrangement, the telly is taller than the depth of the cabinet

Now that looks like the type of thing I need, I will drop by the drawer runner shop tomorrow!

I don't think these will work upside down.

Well that worked out ok, after some routering and drilling. Full extension drawer slides from Screwfix, a chain to stop the TV in the right place and prevent over-extension of the slides and a rubber band to aid the chain to stow without tangling. A door shuts under the TV to hold it in when stowed and a board covers the whole thing.
