Drove from Le Havre to the Dordogne today.
Snow all the way but motorways are all clear (Le havre > Le Mans> Tours )
A roads on from there all clear (Vivonne > Poitiers > Angouleme > Riberac)
Last 3 kms along lanes to my house was a skating rink but made it up the little hill & drive)
Motorway aires looked very icy and pulling off into any side road would be a definite mistake.
Forecast here for tonight is -16. My neighbours pipes in their house are frozen up but even worse their fosse has frozen so sewage not going down
Be careful anyone driving. Stick to the main routes. I got home in 7 hours which was good going.
