fiat laika eco vip
Hi all very new to this I’ve just brought a year 2000 fiat ducato Laika eco vip with temperatures dropping I really want to drain the tanks, but I can’t find out how to drain any of them! I have managed to download manual and it says drainage tap under seat, and it isn’t! I was going to drain via the taps but I’ve managed to break the switch for water on control panel so waiting for a spare, it’s all going Pete tong please help (with pics if poss) 🙈

I would think you just open the fresh water and grey tank to drain off and open the taps, run the pump for a couple of seconds. If you have a truma heater, flip the drain toggle.

It depends which Laika you have, the drain for the fresh water tank on ours is under the dinning seat.

I’ve checked under the dining seats but no joy, do you mean on the underside of vehicle or literally lift dining seat up? Pic of interior to see if same model

Suggest you try the Laika Facebook group, they have many manuals you can download and if you post your model some one will help.

If you have underfloor storage with outside access, open the doors and you may see the fresh water tank and find a red drain tap. Our Ecovip H600 had two fresh water tanks, one as described above and the other slung under the rear end. The drain for that one was a pull toggle on the rear left corner of the van (outside). The grey water drain was controlled by an electric valve operated by a panel on the bulkhead inside the hab door. There was an isolator for that on the side of the driver's seat (LHD) and that has to be in the "on" position for the valve to work.

The drain for the boiler and taps will look like this,

they are usually close to the boiler which if you can't find it will be the other side of the wall to the vent 👍

On mine a Ecovip 7r there is a removable panel under the dinning table, where these a lever to empty the fresh water.
