EHU was a new thing last year and proved popular if a little expensive, discount on entry tickets if you are a CMC member
I can honestly say I've been going since before I was born as my mum had to rush away from there to have me.
It's definitely a niche sport with no wet weather tyres for obvious reasons 👍

The main event show, that will have the top fuel rails there, if you haven't witnessed them before it's going to be a shock!
Absolutely awesome those things, 2 sets of ignition, 2 types of fuel that changes over for the run after a burnout, then it hits you in the chest and your eyes wobble when they set off!
And an engine rebuild after 4 seconds

You really should, top fuel rails and funny cars are a unique experience. 0 - 310mph in under 4 seconds.

And the exhaust pumps out teargas, what could possibly go wrong 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Plus top fuel only runs to 1000 feet 👍

Hockenheim and tierp used to be good as well if you are in europe and the one in malta is getting big upgrades.......

For first timers I would suggest just a big event saturday or sunday to start with, because a lot of people just dont like it so you dont want to commit to a full 5 day event

Go for it.

These days we mainly go for the "retro" type event, Dragstalgia the main one we attend, get there on the Thursday for a reasonable pitch, racing starts Friday lunchtime, enjoy that from your camping seat on the grass embankment, Saturday, book a seat in the grandstand and Sunday, back to the embankment.
There's music on all weekend, plus spitfire/Lancaster fly overs, then this, the fire burnout on the Saturday night

Used to go there in early seventies see the fastest cars in probably one of the slowest cars to go there max 38mph Haflinger 643cc flat twin air cooled
Haf polycab.jpg

One plus point was could drive up on top of embankment and sit in back seats with grandstand view :)

How do I get the discount please.

Think it starts after the early bird jan deal ends but is usually more discount...there is normally a code on the CMC site (the same code you use for most other discounts) to fill in on the santa pod booking
