Downplating

Hello,
If a van has been downplayed should the new revenue weight be on the DVLA website?
Seller reports it's been done but when I look ok the DVLA it has the original weight.

If it’s been down plated to 3500kgs then the revenue weight and tax bracket will have changed.
If you try to tax it the cost will confirm the change or not.

Just ask for a photo of the data page of the v5. That will tell you unless they have very recently applied for downplaye.
