Door hinge snapped off

Hi all,

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

We have encountered the first breakage of our motorhome! The door had been working fine until we tried to close it, then it just wouldn’t close properly, then the hinge snapped!

Has anyone any idea where I can get a replacement please? Have attached a picture.

It’s a Fiat Swift Royal 590

Google Billsunhinged. He makes custom hinges. Not cheap but well made. I bought one last year.

Silly question, I suppose, but I wonder what caused that hefty light alloy material to fracture in the first place.

Metal fatigue caused by a maligned hinge pin, or just a lack of lube ?

It just seems very odd to me ?

Most likely a "hartal" door so worth a search on hartal door hinge
