Hi all
I have a carthago Motorhome with a broken flyscreen has any one got any pics of the fixing locations or tips on how to remove.
The surrounding cupboards but up to the frame so it needs to come apart to be removed.

Frame goes into wall as pic

After having our screen fixed on warranty a couple of years ago decided to not use. We bought an expanding net rail for about £3 then the net fly screens with magnets that you can buy for about £5. A few tabs sewn in and that screen has served us well but it can blow about a little when windy.

Thanks a good idea but I am amazed that you can not remove and repair a fly screen
May look at a expanding net if all else fails

Just got back from Spain and set about repairing ours this afternoon, first job was to remove the curved piece covering the top of the screen, just three screws down through the top 👍

There are plenty of threads on repairing fly screens, this is probably the best.

kelv Following on from yesterday I removed the footwell and it's support then the panel on the rhs with all the switches on,then undid the screws and lifted the screen out 👍

Thanks I will have a look in the morning does the frame come out in one

Yes,once you've removed the pieces across the top and rhs,bit of a tight fit but it will come out.Put ours back in today after replacing one of the strings, luckily just the single one across the bottom.
