Hello all,
this might sound silly, there may be something obvious we haven't thought of, but can I ask, if you are converting a van with a sliding door, what have you done/are you doing about the edges of the door where they fit flush to the sides of the van?
We are intending to carpet over a board at the bottom of the door (with insulation behind the board in the door cavities) and carpet over the surround of the window at the top, but the door has an edge that has to fit flush to the side of the van. We can find lots of photos on the internet of doors with windows in, but no pictures of what people do about the leading edge of the door.
