Dongle - Stupid question time....

I have just had my Vodafone 3g dongle unlocked (thanks all for the tipes and links):thumb:


Now Mrs ShiftZZ has managed to get two free prepaid SIM cards.oh:
1st one is for Orange and according to the instructions ( I know hard going or what, but Mrs ShiftZZ insisted :Sad: ) I require to register the SIM card via a TXT message? HOW?

Do I require an unlocked phone?

What is the best SIM card to get for France..

Any help would be appreciated.

You may be able to send a text message using the dongle software. I know it was possible with the T-Mobile software.
