I do hope they don't cock up the supply of spare parts etc.

The statement put out identifies: selected low-margin camping equipment product categories in the Land Vehicles EMEA segment, as being targeted for divestment with talks underway with potential buyers.... There are other segments in Americas and "Global Ventures" - Large fridges cooking and windows.

I wonder if the quality can go down any further with the new suppliers.....

When looking at the retail price of Dometic Products, especially Refrigeration & Cooking, and camping equipment one thing that I never considered was that they were "Low Margin" products.
I would welcome other, primarily German large brands, to enter the general leisure vehicle market, we know that a few very high end MH manufacturers seem to offer Siemens & Bosch appliances, surely they would not be that more expensive than Dometic if they scaled up a bit, and took a more serious look at the market, and sold on build quality reliability .
Normally you can only expect to get what you pay for in life, with the exception of Dometic that is, as we pay a high price, due to lack of competition, despite the market growing exponentially in the last few years.
