Dometic Fridge RMD 8556

Morning fellow travellers,
Swift Kontiki 2018 model, Dometic Fridge RMD 8556 is only just maintaining cool temp 6 degrees. Freezer comparment is working fine. Taken the fin box inside the fridge off to see if the cooling tubes worked and they do, developing a white frosty film all over the tubes. Works the same on gas or electric.
Any thoughts as to what may be the probelem and also does anyone know of a Dometeic Fridge repair engineer in the West Yorkshire area ?

Could well be the thermal paste between the fins and the cooling tubes needs renewing

5 degrees or below is considered to be the correct temperature for a fridge. Have you replaced the heat sink compound behind the fins?

Steve/Tony, Just on with that now to see if that has any effect, awaiting delivery of the paste. Interestingly the Swift Command shows the fridge is warm even when it it gets down to 5 c
