In France at mo and woke to find fridge dead. No display either using AC or DC. Checked Electroblock (EBL119) and what I think was the fuse looked OK. The instruction manual for the block refers also to a 2a D+ fuse but I don’t know where that may be. Also the external (x2) awning lights are also not working. All other electrics seem OK. I have a Burstner if it helps. Any suggestions welcome. Tried dealer (Chelstons) but they were busy!

Fuses can "look" ok but might still have blown, a multimeter is the easy way to check, but you could try swapping the fuse for a working one of the same value ?

Also check for other fuses, on our Hymer the fuses for the fridge & heating are in a seperate fuse block beside the Elektroblock.

Our 2010 Burstner on a Ducato base has a 20A fuse on the Cab battery positive terminal that protects the 12v supply to our Dometic 8505. Long shot but may be worth checking?

To save confusion, are you aware there are two separate 12V supplies to a 3-way fridge? The low current (LC) supply powers the fridge electronic control board, gas solenoids and igniter, and is usually from the leisure battery. It may or may not have a separate fuse, it is often on the same fuse as things like the heater control board and step. Because nothing is working on the fridge, it looks like this LC supply has a problem.

The high current (HC) supply powers the fridge 12V heater element, usually from the starter battery/alternator, and is only switched on when the engine is running. There is an engine running (D+) signal that turns it on. It usually has its own separate fuse, about 20A. If the fridge doesn't work on 240V or gas then this HC supply is not the problem, it's the LC supply that needs investigating.

The 20A fuse near the cab battery, and the fuse marked 'Kompr/AES Kuhlschrank' are both related to the HC supply, so will not be relevant to this present problem. Also that fuse F3 in fun kit's picture is 20A, and is also related to the HC supply.

Thanks for all you replies and autorouter helpful explanation. Chelstons have confirmed the fridge, awning light and the hob ignition (which I had forgotten had also stopped working) are all on the same circuit. All I need now is a wiring diagram!

Do you have the wiring diagram for the EBL119? It is available at the back of the manual on the Schaudt website, in an English version if you want. The site is in German, but the Support section is reasonably accessible, I can post more details if you want. However it probably won't help with this particular question, the fuse is probably one of the 'Kreis' fuses, or a 'Reserve' fuse, a case of trial and error.

Thanks. I have that. As you say it was a question of trial and error and managed to find the culprit - reserve 4. The ignition on the hob has been playing up for a while and this caused the fuse to blow.
