Dometic Fridge/Freezer door spares (HELP)

hi you more experience than me lot

We have a Dometic F/Freezer in our Rapido and the door bottom shelf has broken and needs replacing. I’m searching and getting nowhere so can anyone help me please

The bottom of the shelf has this no. 289 0726-0 by the way but no idea if this is the actual part no. As it’s the bottom one, their are 3 in total, it’s usually the deeper one to hold taller items

This is a photo of the label stuck inside the unit itself at the bottom behind the salad draw

I was hoping to find one for less than 53quid Jock

For me the quality of ours is bordering on junk, it had 1/2 pint of boxed milk and a packet of chocolate hobnobs and decided to fault out and break on the floor

I’m hoping it’s under warranty but we need one asap and that’ll take months

If you google ‘3dspares on ebay’ you will find they do stronger door shelves for Dometic fridges. We replaced our rubbish ones in the van as the Dometic shelves aren’t rigid enough. The ones we bought from 3dspares we’re around
£36 each but they are strong, good quality and look really good.
Went to Spain and back in the winter and didn’t have one avalanche of food when we opened the fridge door.
Couldn’t see your exact fridge model number but they do quite a few different ones.

Use the product number when searching for parts

Leisureshopdirect should be able to help. Their website is a bit awkward to use, especially on a small screen like a tablet. Don't enter the product number (00921074268) on the home page, navigate to the fridge spares section and enter it there. They have motorhome and caravan sections but I don't think it matters which you use. Once you enter the number you should be offered a list of diagrams, shelves are in the cabinet one.

On our way to the lakes last week of my shelves failed in the place where it clips on the door. Called in at B&Q and bought araldite and some plastic angle trim. Managed to brace it top and bottom and did the other side for good measure.

Yesterday our Dometic drop down freezer compartment door broke so interested to see how you get on. Took in off and surprised by the poor build quality.
It seems to use a lot of double sided selotape to secure fixings!
Trying to see if I can glue back first.

All three of our Dometic door shelves have broken and a new Dometic one we bought tried complaining to them but they didn’t want to know. Always had Thetford before new had this problem.

I’ve ordered an heavy duty one from 3dspares on ebay

My dealer says it’s not covered under warranty but i’m not having that, it’s not fit for purpose imho, and why would someone make and sell an heavy duty one if the original didn’t break?
