Dometic fridge continually blowing fuse (1 Viewer)

Hi. Can anyone help I have a 2016 Burstner Nexxo 745 with a Dometic fridge fault. It blows the 10a fuse in the fuse box situated under the front pasenger seat. When moving the fuse blows immediately blows when 12v selected and now when gas is selected it runs for several hours the the fuse blows again It would seem fine on 240v. The fridge has never been serviced. Any ideas please

10A seems low for 12V fridge. Mine are 20A.

But, before change, you would need to know 20A is OK for your wiring. Dud manufacturer only fit 10A in which case wires probably cannot support higher curelrent, or has a previous owner changed it wrongly?

well the fuse blew at Malvern recently and was replaced by a caravan engineer on site and fridge ran ok on gas for the next three weeks away. Didn't quite see what fuse value he took out surmised it was a direct replacement but who knows. I'm away to check the wiring diagram to see if that gives correct fuse value.
