Doing a number 2 or not

MY partner and I both prefer going in the MotorHome. as she says "never know whats been happeing on the public etc toilet seats.
Anyway... thats half of the reason for having a toilet. Yup... poo on the loo.

I merely wait for the cover of darkness, whereby I’ll check to see if coast is clear, quietly exit via the hab door to squat in the best available blind spot before curling one out. 💩

But that’s such a lot of hassle, I recommend just using the toilet in the van, it’s what it’s there for. You can always buy a refresh kit in the future. (y)

It's a toilet.. we use it as intended ..

All you need to know about ports potties

. Yes, you can poop in porta potties. Porta potties are equipped to handle both #1 and #2. A toilet does not need to flush for you to poop. Now, the person going after you may not be thrilled that you did if it’s really stinky. But if you need to go, you need to go. In the summer when temps are high, it might not be the most pleasant experience to sit there in the heat for a while, but you certainly can do your business regardless of what kind of business it is!

Always use our on-board “facilities”.

We picked up the habit using Aires in France where toilets weren’t provided and now never share toilet seats with strangers.😎

If you don't go #2 in the van do you go at home? our local Sainsbury's has a public loo and is only 10 minutes walk but even that is too far when you gotta go, we do say "might as well fill theirs" when we get the opportunity but that would only be #1's

When we were looking for our van I was surprised at how many sellers proud boast was " the loo and shower have never been used " , often followed up by " and neither has the cooker ". I think I'll walk down the road and lug all the shopping home by hand as that will save me getting the car out. 🤷‍♂️

Yep, we 💩, plop, pee, preen and pump in our loo, why spend £10’s of £1000’s of squiddlies and walk away from it.

Also use these, no skiddies 👍🏻

The MH toilet is the cleanest, most private and least hassle to use, and we would never even consider “going” anywhere else.

We use Elsan Organic (green) liquid, or Aldi/Lidl bio pods and there is zero odour, ever.

Emptying takes about a minute, including rinses. Some people here don’t even bother to rinse and find it not an issue.

I can’t see the point in spending the cash to buy a lovely MH with perfect, purpose-designed facilities, then deliberately choosing not to use them.

Just remember to open the flap before performing! ;)

G'day all.
Wondering how many of you do a 2 in your MH.
If not where do you go? Park, local toilets?
My missus won't go in the van
Only as a last resort - when paying for facilities at a campsite, what's the point unless you use them? When on the road there's normally somewhere you can find a useable toilet. If you must, the dealer who sold us our moho showed us the lengths to which he goes to keep it clean (so to speak) by laying toilet paper in a criss cross pattern in the toilet bowl to catch the poo and neatly package it when it drops in to the cassette. We were suitably amazed . . . .
