Does anyone have any information about mercedes Tabbert 670e

[Tabbert 670e]

Hello, we are in the UK,We have bought a old A reg mercedes tabbert 670e van off eBay and can't find anything about them we know it's imported from Germany, they were expensive to make so Mercedes didn't produce that many? we think it's very cool and massive!!

Any information is appreciated

Just for reference......
Mercedes didn't make the body, only the chassis and running gear.
The body is by Tabbert.

Good Evening Tabbert670E, we had one of these some years ago but had to Sell it because of a lot of problems with water getting into it and mold as a result. In Germany it was called „Goldener Elefant“ because it was big and slow, even at the Time of the Production it was Slow compared to other RVs, Most of These had 65 HP. All of them were produced from golden coloured Aluminium. The Aluminium had a Bad quality and in result Problems with Aluminium-corrosion, many of them were Painted or received new Body-Parts from other Materials to solve the Problem. The Basic vehicle is the Mercedes-Benz T1 Series also called „Bremer“ because of the Production plant was Bremen. It is possible to get the User Manuel sometimes via eBay. If you buy the Manuel, try to find the Right Production year, there should be some Changes in the series over the years
