With my work world being turned upside down at the moment I hadn't even began looking. We went a few years ago but in an hotel but we love York and the market was buzzing.

There is an excellent Christmas market at Bury St Edmunds, lots of continental food stalls, jewellery etc. We camped over the night before in the only long stay car park, which has 4 bays big enough for motorhomes. You are allowed to do it, as long as you don't put your awning up and chairs out! Make sure you are up at 8.00am to put a pay and display ticket on though.

I went for a job today and a Jan start was mentioned so York is back on Monday 15 dec through to Sunday 21st. The only place I know in York is the racecourse perhaps anyone local knows somewhere better/closer?
