Does anybody use NFU Insurance for their Motorhome?

Yes. Used them for the last 3 years. Competitive premiums.

Yep, just coming up for the third year, although I didn’t have a choice as they were the only ones who would quote for my van :crying:

Just had the renewal through for next month and it’s gone up about £80 so happy with that.

Been with nfu for several years, premiums competitive for me. They are better if you insure more than one item, seem to give better prices

We have been with NFU for a few years, good prices and easy to deal with. RAC is through the camping club.

Yes. In year 4 I think. Also have the car with them on a multi vehicle policy, but house insurance was nowhere near competitive to the current insurer Aviva. With the Ipswich branch who themselves are out in the sticks on the Shotley peninsula.

Yes but remember the branches are franchises and some are frankly not interested in motorhomes whilst others are really helpful. Chichester already mentioned, another very helpful one is Brockenhurst 01590 624744 which I use.

Used them for the last 8 or 9 years including home and travel insurance. Pretty reasonable - best bit is no quibbles on pay outs.

Louth branch

I rang the Louth branch within the last couple of weeks to ask for quotes for home & car & van.

She said straight out it probably wasnt worth them quoting for the house as their policies have been re rated & premiums had increased alot. She asked how much my renewal was & then said it wasnt worth her quoting.

I got the impression she wasnt too interested in the vehicles either so i left it at that & have stayed with LV Direct.

Interesting, my premiums really haven't changed much

Absolutely yes
had an incident not at all my fault they were right behind me fighting for me right up until standing on the steps of the courts when the other party decided they were in the wrong
its times like that you don’t want to use but they are there if needed

A lot won't cover the more expensive vans so NFU seemed our only option, we put two cars with them first and then the Flair before we changed to the Palace and they covered that no problem, and at a sensible price ;)

Used them for a year but then they wouldn't renew as they said my drive wasn't a drive but a "communal parking area" even though it was apparently a drive 12 months earlier when I first insured with them.

We are with the Dumfries and Castle Douglas branch, very little change in this years policy.
