Does anybody on here make home brew wine or beer? I know it's a bit old fashioned but when it's right it does taste good.
I made a few wine kits back in the 80/90s and had a go last year at my first blackberry wine made from scratch (no kit, all fresh ingredients) and it turned out not too bad. last week I managed enough time to get last years crop of Blackberrys (they have bee sitting in the freezer) on the go around 5 gallon, hope fully about 40 bottles. Any tips or recipes would be welcome. Russ

I used to have a bit of a brewery up the garden and was doing 7 x 5 gallons at a time of wines, ciders, beers and "vodka". (Ethanol)

You could only make the vodka to 22% without a still and you needed a license for anything over a liter a week so I froze some off but didn't do it twice !

That stuff was given to my teenage daughters for parties. 2 parts fruit juice, 2 parts lemonade or tonic water 1 part ethanol and bottled it up as "Tart fuel" and sent them off out with it. We would have a couple of home brew parties a year for after they left school for about 40-59 kids and always invited neighbours round.

Best tip is for everyone and dead simple.

4 tablespoons of camp coffee, tin of evaporated milk, tin of condensed milk, quarter bottle of scotch makes a bottle of" Bailey's".
Make it in front of your friends ! I have a video of it somewhere.

Edit: Found it
