Dodgy Cathargo AD Blue problems and DVLA issues

I met a nice chap today while filling up my LPG tanks in Stroud he has a huge 11m Cathargo year 2021 dual axle must be at least 4500kgs apparently it cost him £250,000,,,,,It has a Fiat Underpinning and 9 speed ZF gearbox ,, He said he has had constant issues with AD Blue since he first got it and its never been solved , has caused issues and has been back to factory twice , he also told me he had some problems with ZF 9 speed Gearbox and its been changed once but still gives trouble .... He said DO NOT BUY A CATHARGO ,, they dont give a fig about Customer service and cant sort out a £250,000 van after 3 years ownership ...

He liked my 2009 Adria because it does not have AD Blue and all the emmissions crap

He also mentioned about DVLA giving him problems over his C1 despite perfect medical results and he also has a valid HGV ticket ,, I told him about my problems with C1 ,, He reckons DVLA dont like giving out C1 to people over 70 and are making it difficult,,, Im not even 70 and I still waiting for mine to be reinstated after 2 years ... Like me DVLA have made and broken promises , even with CEO, MPs etc involved .

What model was it , as the max size is 9m? AD blue yes pain in the Ar-e for any new vehicle, but that's the fiat side not necessarily Carthago

I would have thought that Cathargo were correct in not dealing with the AdBlu issue, that’s a FIAT problem, and good luck with that.

Just two of the reasons I won’t upgrade our carthago, we don’t have adblu (3.0L) and we have a comfortmatic

Oh and the other reason, I can’t afford it

I dont know what model but it was massive mine is 7.2m long and his was a lot longer with 6 wheels ...
