Do you need a PCR/later flow test to enter Spain by ferry ?

If you have had the third (booster) injection then you are fine, my daughter has just returned from Ibiza and confirmed they check. If you have not had the booster and your 2nd vaccination was over 6 months ago then you'll need to do a test. Spain is, I think, the only country left in Europe to have restrictions.

We flew in to Alicante last Saturday, no checks, no paperwork requested... Only our experience.

I'm flying to the UK in a month and hopefully driving back, will let you know if it is required in Santander 👍

Just travelled into Italy, Greece, Croatia and nothing checked.

Entered Spain a week last Sunday at Santander with Brittany Ferries. No Covid documentation was asked for either at Portsmouth checkin or Santander passport control.

We went ferry to Calais, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy. No checks anywhere. Good job as we didn't have any proof ready. COVID is over!!!

All travellers

If you are travelling from the UK to Spain you must show valid proof of one of the following upon entry:
Those are the rules at the moment. I suspect a lot will depend on how/where you enter the country as to what you'll need to prove. So if you turn up at the border and you are not fully vaccinated, can't provide, a negative test result nor proof you have recovered from Covid in last 6 months, then they are perfectly within their rights to tell you to sling it.

Thats because they don't have any restrictions, Spain still does.

Yes, it seems on the UK.gov and the Spanish Gob website, its says you do. We flew into Alicante in September and it was spot checks.
