Display for cab battery not working correctly.

I have a Chausson 718 XLB which is showing a strange fault. If the MH is off EHU it shows the cab battery is 1 red bar (it goes up to 10 which is green) However while on EHU it works perfectly. I've had the battery checked and it is good.
I suspect there is some sensor somewhere but not sure where to look.
Any help appreciated.

Have you checked for fuses near the cab battery positive terminal that may need replacing for your display to work correctly .

All fuses near the hab battery are good Geoff. I am totally flummoxed.

Your original post said the problem is with the cab (starter) battery readings, have you checked the fuses there ? or did you mean the hab (habitation) battery that you say you have checked the fuses near to .
Is your 12v power supply system a CBE one, if so, do you know the model numbers of the unit and display panel.

I was referring to the cab battery (starter).
I'm not sure what a CBE
How can I check?

CBE would be the make of the 12v fuse/ power supply box and the display/control panel.

Nothing its all ok. Its just the control pannel read out

If ,as I think you have , a CBE 12v system , there may be an extra small grey box marked- Boite relais securite - that has 2 x fuses in it that relate to the batteries. If there is one fitted it may be under the passenger seat , but could be elsewhere.

Geoff you are correct. I've just tested the fuses all ok. What I could do with is a schematic.

The Tafia If you look at Resources (in the menu), on page 2 of the Manuals for Motorhome stuff section there are manuals for some CBE systems you can download that may help

If you have not found a fault , and you are able to confirm that power is getting to the distribution/fuse box from the batteries , www.apuljackelectronics.co.uk should be able to advise you and be able to test the control/display board if needed .
